Exclamation Canadians: BOGO at Music World!

Music world finally got it's first hidef format disks this morning and seems to have selected Blu-ray only for the time being. They have a standalone shelf/Blu-ray right in front facing the entranceway. All disks in stock (about 40 titles at my local outlet) are 2 for 1 as a one time sale, making them just under $16 dollars each. Some of the more expensive 2 disk collections including both Pirates movies are there.

I just blew $140 (including tax) and walked out with 8 new Blu-ray titles to add to my collection. Err... the wife will find out when I arrive home from work *gulp*

I read that Future Shop has the Disney BOGO again too.

Did you check today? I'm in Ottawa, and the Billings Bridge Plaza location of Music World didn't have any hidef movies yesterday. They received their shipment this morning here, and only got the display set up just before noon hour. I'd give your local location a call anyway.

I was at Futureshop on Tuesday (Ottawa/Marivale Rd), and didn't see any Disney BOGO or any other sale - just their regular limited collection. I don't see any indication of a sale at their web site right now either... perhaps I'll call them in a bit.

Oh I should add that the BOBO sale at Music World has nothing to do with Disney. The sale extends to every Blu-ray title in stock from any studio.

Okay I stand corrected after reading the Future Shop thread in General Discussion. And it looks like I might have been mistaken about Music World offering BOGO on non-Disney titles. This looks to be the same deal I think.
