Spider-Man on PS3 - Blu-ray Forum

Anyone else notice that the Spider-Man Blu-ray discs, when inserted into the PS3, have an ACTUAL ICON & TITLE listed on the XMB??? It's just like the games! Up until these releases it always just listed as "BDMV" with the picture of a little disc.

It's not that big of a big, but a noticeable improvement. It totally caught me off guard because I was looking for that "BDMV" icon and had to scroll up and down the Video column a few time before finding what I was looking for.

thats sick i was wondering when i'd see that. i just got mine today and its the australian release... hope its the same?

It should be. I felt quite stupid after my third time scrolling through the whole Video column. I thought maybe the disc was F.U.B.A.R. But, when I found the visual icon for "Spider-Man Blu-ray" I laughed so hard at my lack of observational skills that I almost wet myself! ... ... WITH TEARS! What were you thinking that I meant???

There really should be a sticky for the movies with icons. Some people are nerdy for that stuff (myself included.) Matter of fact . . . I'ma make me a thread in the feedback forum.

I noticed it myself. I saw it for Spider Man 2 as well.

I think it's really classy and adds to the overall integrated experience. I hope that becomes the standard for BD movies.

Petra, Sony has been doing this for all their titles at least since Memoirs of a Geisha, perhaps even earlier.

And yes, it's extremundo neat.
