Default Wood Clogs - Help Me Out Here

Well, after seeing these things in Close Encounters and the fact that they are so retro and cool - I need a pair. I don't care what anyone says. Clogs are comfy as hell and wood ones would be slick!

So, anyone here know of a good place to start looking? I have found two places called Dala Clogs and Ana Clogs. They are the closest I have found.

Any of you more "mature" folks know anything about these during your time during the 70's ?

Oh, looking for Men's. 46 EU/13 US

Just so happens I saw a show not too long ago about this city. And I am sure if you google it you will find some.

Traditional wooden soles aren't the best recipe for comfort. There are plenty of clogs with more pliant soles and these are, indeed, extremely comfortable. I've worn a pair of Dansko's daily for ~10 years. I get them from Zappos.com, though they're around at some local shops, as well.

Thanks RUR. I am going to check those out locally. There is a shoe store here that carries them according to their website. They look good too.

Thanks quetz. Did not find any clog info though

Well, I tried those Dansko's and they are too small for me. Even the 47's. I am flat footed so it does not help.

I picked up a couple other pairs and spent around $320 bux. So, all is well

Thanks, I didn't want FULL wood shoes - lol. However, I might order them just to see how they are.

The ones I was referring too, have a leather upper and a wood sole with some cushion on top.

That is what I figured. But those are what true clogs are not the knockoffs you see today that call themselves clogs.
