Steel vs Wood

I'm going to start my Basement HT and want to know what people have used in the past for their builds. I'm going with steel, my reasons are,

easier to work with
walls will be more square with no shrinkage
better sound insulation
lighter to carry in to the house

there are probably more reasons but i just can't think of them right now

Anyone who can think of pro's or con's of both wood and metal please post them

Steel would be my choice..... pretty much for the reasons you gave.

Are you going to use materials designed for sound isolation in your construction? Are you building a sub floor, and is it concrete slab? If so, how thick?

I will be building a sub floor and yes it's a concrete slap i believe 12" thick according to my home blue prints , i'm looking at using the pre assembled floor panels, everything will be insulated with sound proof insulation and i'm looking at using 3/4" drywall for walls and ceiling with metal studs on top of 1" Styrofoam rapped in vapor barrier and metal ceiling straps.
