“I’m honored and humbled to play a role in franchise so loved by so many horror fans,” said Katz. “I can promise fans will get exactly what they’ve been craving!”

Katz succeeds former Wrong Turn heroines like Eliza Dushku, Erica Leershen, and Tenika Davis.

Katz’s other credits include Scorned, which she also co-wrote, and the upcoming 13 Girls.

Wrong Turn 6 was written by Frank H.Woodward.

None of these movies are even 1/10th as good as the X-Files episode "Home".

What makes this series special is each film is different. For example the second having the reality TV show element. Wrong Turn 5: Bloodlines is admittedly the weakest of the bunch. The approach in that film didn't work well.

Hopefully WT6 is great. Getting us more sequels or at least ending the series on a better note than WT5.

There's a Wrong Turn 5?

The second one was the best, followed by the first. Never did see the other sequels, although they're on TV all time, so maybe I'll watch them someday. I enjoy a good cannibal film

The first two are pretty awesome. The second deserved a theatrical release. The rest are serviceable. The third and fifth are the worst. I'm sick of the prequels though. I wouldn't mind seeing one more that took place in present day and ended things once and for all. With the prequels you know everyone is going to die.

I think I have only seen the first two movies all the way through. I watched one on TV a while back. I don't remember much other than there was snow.

The first (with Eliza Dushku) is by far the best, but part 2 comes in a very respectable second. Parts 4 and 5, while not in the same league as the first two, are very entertaining, suspenseful, and good fun.

Part 3 however, is SHITE. Unlikeable characters, ugly scenery, dull, boring, etc.

After Wrong Turn 2, the rest of the so-called sequels had become repetitive, and progressively worse, that's if you like bad B direct to video horror movies.

Last good one was part 2. Part 3 was just god fraking awful!

But hey, why invest money into something else different when you can put that into c movie stuff and keep remaking the movie over and over again. Whatever makes money I guess.
