Default What we are really after......please comment

I posted this before in the sales numbers forum but I want it to be commented on and added to so it can be seen by people looking in these forums. People need to know what we are really after.

read the article on the format war with the fans in this weeks Media Magazine. the part that pissed me off was when the Geoff Kleinman said we are so into this is format war because we have money invested in it. if that was true i would have a hd dvd player and just get the exclusives to hd dvd and be done with it because moneys not an object when it comes to this. what it comes down to for me is not wanting blu-ray to fail and get good but not as good titles. i know its been said many times on this site, hd dvd is a very good step up from dvd, but not close to blu-ray. i like to refer to it as dvd 1.5 and do not wish to see that be the replacement to dvd for quality reasons.
