So many things to fix here, hope it works out. The Halloween movies don't sound right though and makes me nervous for everything else.

Hope fuly they will correct the following:

OAR on Venom and Dracula 2000 (Both with their proper special features )

Provide special features to From Dusk Till Dawn.

Lionsgate has release every Miramax Blu Ray with its features and proper OAR. So this might be a good thing.

Are these going to end up on DVD multipacks at Walmart or is Lionsgate actually doing something new for these titles?

Would love a Director's Cut of The Faculty some day. They did it for MIMIC...

Glad to hear that they are re-releasing Godzilla Vs. Biollante. I missed getting the Echo Bridge release before it went OOP.

I have to imagine these will all be better than EB's releases, at least in terms of encoding/compression. They'll very likely all be from the same source though.

Yeah the prophecy had a terrible transfer and prophecy 3 was only 1080i and the soundtrack would randomly drop out. They never fixed it.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and predict these will be old Echo Bridge stock with new UPC stickers.

Their initial Miramax releases were old Disney stock under new SKUs.

what a joke, Lionsgate passed on these titles initially and that's how Echo Bridge ended up with them, if Lionsgate just released these in the first place it would have saved everyone from the Echo Bridge disasters, they clearly saw a profit to be made

The Japanese releases from WB are quite good, if these don't pan out.

As long as any ones I want have subtitles, I'll be happy. Obviously other than a lot of the releases being crap, the lack of subtitles was a dealbreaker.

This list doesn't sound right at all. The Halloween movies are with Scream and Lionsgate has pretty much pulled away from releasing catalog horror. Would be nice if they did release some of these and make improvements, but I doubt it.

Guess it's official; Lionsgate now has the Echo Bridge Miramax titles. Well, at least their releases will be better (but I mean no offense to Echo Bridge who at least tried with some titles).

The Halloween movies aren't "with Scream" any more than Child's Play is "with Universal."

There are a lot of different players working on that Halloween set, but Shout having stuff like Darkman and The Shadow licensed as SEs while Universal still sells their bare-bones edition is a perfect example of how they don't really own anything.

Exactly, some folks getting all excited for nothing here. They're not going to be spending money making new transfers of EB's low-selling titles they passed over the first time...most likely scenario is they simply release old stock or repress the discs as is, just as they did with the Miramax lot.

Maybe you'll get a new release of a particular title...but I wouldn't get my hopes up the bulk of these aren't going to be repressing/reissues with new upc codes.
