let's hope this is a joke. What about the sequel they mentioned on the new blu-ray? No offense but a woman led version. why? Not against having women be main characters but what would it add to have an all/mostly woman cast? It wasn't like these were male only movies or that the roles were overly macho. Considering the people involved and the movies they have already done, sounds like Hollywood doesn't know what to do and is just giving it to them since they had some success - a reoccuring theme in Hollywood lately.

Wow waited all these years for a new Ghostbusters movie and they do this I would have been ok with a reboot but an all women's cast can someone please tell me this is a joke!!! And adding McCarthy is the worse thing they can do she has no talent

She's not officially part of the cast yet. it's just a assumed guess. Seeing how she was in Feig's last two features. Bridesmaids and The Heat.

I doubt this will be R. So she'd have to rely on something else besides dropping F bombs every 20 seconds.

I liked McCarthy in Brides Maids but thats about it. She is good on Mike and Molly. It seems to me that every movie she's in has the same jokes or gags. Don't think her humor is diverse enough. She should try and do a drama to break up the same jokes. Don't dislike her but don't really like her either.

isn't she in that new Bill Murray movie. Saint something. From the trailer I've seen. She looks like she's playing a normal character. so who knows.

It'll likely be Kristen Wiig, McCarthy, maybe Sandra Bullock and Rebel Wilson. or throw Maya Rudolph in there for diversity. I can see a man being in the Janine role.

Tammy - written by her and her husband, directed by her husband. Can't blame Hollywood when you do it to yourself! And being a fat boy myself, I don't have an issue either other than it is the same old crap - oh, she looks funny when she runs, she gets winded quickly, can't jump over a counter. It is cheap humour and that I don't like. Plus I have never found her funny to begin with, even from Gilmore Girls.

And no, Rebel Wilson isn't funny either.
