A couple of COD4 issues

When I first start up COD4 and go play online sometimes my settings for "inverse look" goes back to disable. also, my created classes have no names after i have renamed them. Anyone know what's up with that?

It will be fixed in an up comming patch. It happens to pretty much everyone.

I have the same problem with the "creating class" issue.

When i go online my classes are usually erased, so....

-I go back to "create class"
-and i'll go straight to "rename class" and type in a class that i orginally had in there.
-Press O or back or whatever... and the list of classes that you've created should pop back up.

For example, I had a class named "M16" that was erased... simply retype the class name and exit out and you should be good to go.

I believe that should fix your inverted problem as well since my Y invert is still enabled.

ive had the same problem with the class part.

id rather have more headset options, as to mute some players online. on some days, its quite frustrating to hear ambient noise in the background.

Ya this happens to me everytime, i just gave up and left them as blank names lol I just have to look at my perks to see which class im using.

It is a server issue with your saved names not showing up.

Hey Everyone --

For those of you who are having your 'Create a Class' names reset I have some info for you. We have been able to reproduce the bug, and your Class names aren't being reset at all. If you are auto-logged in set, and load up the game. Wait about 5 seconds before going into Multiplayer and Play Online. If you sit at the menu for just 5 - 10 seconds, your class names will appear.

It's apparently taking some time to read the save data for the custom names, which is the issue. Just wait at the multiplayer menu for a few seconds before hitting Play Online and they should appear.

Of course, we are addressing this issue so that this won't be a problem in the future, but just heads up in the meantime.

once i renamed them once again, i was able to keep my assigned names on em, and been happy ever since. just to follow this up.

I was ranked level 24 and now just 20 this has happened to me over and over.
