Default New Blu-ray Commercials

Ok... I am a Blu-ray fanboy, and I get excited when I see a Blu-ray commercial But, I was just watching Universal HD and they were showing a new commercial for "I Do Blu" it was fantastic, it was then followed by a Disney Blu-ray commercial for the Pirates 1,2,3 movies...that was eye poping. Disney promotes Blu-ray more than Sony!

This one was new, let me say that it is really good (they really adverstise a lot in the HD channels). But, wait until you see the Disney Blu-ray commercial for POTC 1,2,and 3. Eye candy!

Try watching commercials on ABC and HDNet. Those are the two channels I see them on the most. Of course, Food HD shows the Disney Blu-ray commercials ALL THE TIME... but I'm not sure if I've seen an "I Do Blu" (I wouldn't go around saying that in a crowded mall... or a DEA convention!) commercial on there or not...

Same way with me. Every time I see one, I give this wink to my gf, and she rolls her eyes at me. She hates that I buy 5 movies a week lol. I also give her that wink, because her brother is all about the crap format.

Gotta love how that works, huh? I have the same issue with lots of 360 fanboy friends. They seem to feel that a 360 obsession automatically aligns them with the Dud format. It also seems they feel that by admitting Blu-Ray is the superior format, they are giving some form of gratification to the PS3. Several of them went off and bought the 360 add-on just to watch Transformers, and haven't done a single thing with it since. When asked, the response is either 1) Movies are too expensive or 2) There is nothing out they really want to buy. I can tell deep down inside they feel stupid for the $100+ purchase, but obviously they will never succumb to the truth. I personally feel they are directly aligned with the typical Dud buyers, frankly...

You nailed it. Why does he think HD-DVD is superior (even though he doesn't own a player??), because he is a M$ fanboy. He even tried to tell me that M$ was not giving money to the HD-DVD format????? LMAO, just look at paramounted. Every time I show him something, he says its not a fact. But when those lied about #'s for transformers came out, he said that was fact. Its a never ending battle with him. But its fun nonetheless.

My dad in-law works for MS and I got him a PS3 for his Bday. Ever since then he's been showing it off (blu-ray capability) almost non-stop, but doesn't tell people they're watching a BD until someone comments about the picture quality, which they always do.

I love how the HD-DVD ads I've seen on HD channels aren't even in high def!
