Default What new functionality will be included in future blu rays?

Hey I'm doing a product design module in my graphics coursework and was wondering what new functionality a Blu Ray player could have.

So if anyone could think of any realistic functions on the horizon or not in the works for Blu Ray players please give me a bit of help

As long as it isn't something as cheezy as Harry Potter's "Live Community Experience" I think we'll have some pretty good functionality on discs in the future.

This is a feature within the BD specs, and our firmware supports it. BD player manufacturers simply have to use it. Sure wish they would as our family really misses since it.

The only thing I would suggest is having multiple versions of the film on one disc. Like what they are doing with 20 Million Miles to Earth with the color or B&W option. That is, the director's cut or theatrical version option, rated, unrated, even X rated and deleted scenes. All the scenes/shots are there in on the disc, which version you see depends on which option you choose. (Current discs with deleted scenes show the scene itself separately, not within the context ot the film.)
