Default "PCM" or "Bitstreme" Use Question...
Quick Question: I have the Onkyo 805 and just purchased the Panny BD 30. The player gives the option for "PCM" or "Bitstreme" for various sound formats, DD, DTS, etc. Which one do I choose for the best sound? PCM or Bitstreme? And if you wouldn't mind, can you explain the differences to me as I am very interested in the tech part of it all, but am clueless in regard to the technical differences between PCM and Bitstreme. Thanks all. Mark
