A slew of new members! (welcome!)

In the last couple of weeks i've noticed a bunch of new members comming over from other forums, noteably AVSforum.com.

I'd just like to formally welcome you all, and also let you all know a little bit about the speed of this forum.

First, you'll notice that this site is alot less argumentative...as been said here we tend to agree on most things, but when we don't we disagree respectively. Also many of us own HDDVD and plan to buy Blu Ray or may already have both. Those that don't own HDDVD here aren't "BD-Fanboys" and we don't have "HDDVD fanboys" here either. There have been attempts by shills & tools from both sides to try and come in and make this an AVSforum war setting but the great mod work performed by NYG shuts that down quickly.

I'd hope you would enjoy your new membership to this forum, we welcome all of your thoughts and opinions just so long as they conform to the respect, humility & integrity bond we all currently share here.

I think everyone can agree that it's frustrating to scan through pages of off topic, propoganda, lies and personal attacks to try and find the information you look for and I can assure you that this site is free of all of that more times than not.

I'm not a Mod here, but I consider myself one of the more active voices here, along with Obviously NYG (Mod), JTK, VickVega, Psi Weaver, Provenflipper, Applefeind, Phloyd and a few others that don't come to mind. These guys are great and can usually answer any question you have...politely! (without the "search you newb" comments) Anyways...Look forward to more replies and new threads from you guys!
