quick hello - Blu-ray Forum

Just thought I'd say hey, I can't believe I didn't know this site existed before a few weeks ago!! I remember how excited I was when I found out we were getting the first Sony Blu Ray player into our store (worked for the Sony Store in Toronto, ON before I joined the army) and going out and buying my first BD 'Ultraviolet' just so I could demo the format to customers immediately! Well, it's been over a year now and I'm just as excited every time I see a new BD on the shelf somewhere

Can't wait for the domination we are gonna have in '08 and I'm glad I found this place!

Welcome! Ultraviolet was my second BD purchase, after Chronos.

Thanks for the welcome guys! It's hard to say how popular Blu Ray is in Canada at the moment.. Certainly, as is always the case, we are lagging behind the U.S. as far as adoption rate, etc however by how much it's hard to say. I'm not aware of any statistics that are solely Canadian numbers..? I can tell you though, that anyone I talk to about BD up north here is +1 for the Blu side
