Default Why are some women so against technology?

My friend's wife HATES gadgets. She even told him that if he bought a HDTV he better go looking for a new place to stay as well. Yet she has no problem dropping thousands on a vacation that when she comes back has nothing to show for but FADING memories. Go figure. At least the TV will last a whole lot longer.

When in college, I worked part-time at Target and later at Best Buy. Pretty much the same thing!!!! Yet they don't mind the new 30k Honda minivan or the 8k wedding ring

Obviously she expects him to understand her interests yet has no respect for his. She sounds like the type of person that would have nothing to show for themselves if it wasn't for her husband. If so, maybe she should think of that.

I don't understand why it always comes down to some sort of guilt trip between people who are supposed to be, as the theory of marriage proposes, made for each other. I couldn't live with that *****. Life's too short to deprive yourself of what you want because somebody else has a problem with it.

You sir are smart beyond your years. My dad told me at 16 when I started dating...it is better to alone and happy then with someone and miserable. In other words if you don't find the one...DON'T MARRY. I remember watching this show on TLC that said that around 38% of Americans marry because "society demands it" and not because they are in love.
