ok so i bought a new ps3 on launch day and i really lke to get the free blus. now i recently returned the ps3 i bought using my best buy service plan- when they gave me the new system they printed me out a new receipt as well. do you think this would work towards the free blus offer?

I would think that as long as the receipt has a purchase date that meets the requirements, you should qualify.

What's the real time period involved in getting the free discs? Is it really 6-8 weeks?

Yes this would work because this is a new purchase, as far as retail goes.

Yes. You might get lucky and get them earlier, but my sister only got her set of 5 movies a few weeks ago, and she picked up her PS3 back in early August.

I sent for mine in July or August and still haven't received them. Its kindof pissing me off. Any way to find out what the heck is going on (for the Canadian 5 free blu offer)?
