Question how long does it take to recieve 5 free blu-ray discs? - Blu-ray Forum

i sent out my form its been 5 weeks and still no movies how long does it take and could you guys share with me how long it took for u guys to recieve also if anyone actually recieved them ever?

I am waiting as well, I am only about 4 weeks though, I have read before some people were not getting them for anywhere from 6 - 12 weeks
If it is for "free", you can expect to wait a while

Lots of people have received them. When is the question. Use the search feature and you will read all about it. It has been since Sept. 20th for me.

I purchased my blu-ray player on August 17 and received the five free discs the first week of December.

i went there and they say they have no record of my name or address or that i have submitted any order of any kind.

Some people still receive them even though they never show up on the site. You might want to call the number though.

Ok..for my third player, it took exactly 5 weeks. It still does not even register as having being received in the Buena Vista website. You can check here:

I got my PS3 for Father's Day and had to wait 3 months to get the movies. They are processing a LOT faster now. Good luck!

Hey guys, I was wondering if there was any way to receive another set of "5" free BD movies through the buy a BD player and receive 5 free BD movies offer? Reading the form for selecting the 5 free movies states that Buena Vista reserves the right to prosecute should one provide multiple submissions including multiple addresses. Well, what if you purchased a BD player as a gift for someone, but you fill out the form in their name - is this still legit? Anyone here have an input on this? What would be a legitimate way to receive another 5 free BD movies without being disqualified? Thanks.

If you buy a second player even for someone else you should probably submit the movies in their name. Would they not give them to you?

I sent in my stuff on August 15. On November 20 it showed processing. Still waiting after 20 weeks...

The winter promo seems to process faster than the summer promo.
I have a coworker who bought during the winter promo and already got his discs.
I bought during summer Promo, and submitted Oct 1, still nothing.

I got mine in 11 weeks (Canadian summer deal)...

They gave me Happy Feet instead of Babel which is a good trade IMHO

It took about two and a half months. I remember sending off the checklist to the company on August 31st, and then they finally came in at about mid-November. I got THE LAST WALTZ (the main one I was looking forward to), BABEL and BLAZING SADDLES for me, and STEALTH and PEARL HARBOR for my brother.
