Are any of those movies good? I know Master of the World isn't, and I have the DVD of an evening with Edgar Allan Poe and thus am aware that it's a TV special where it's just him reading 4 stories on a set, which seems more like something that would usually be treated as a special feature. Unless the other three are amazing, this seems pretty weak compared to 1/2. Unless they somehow acquire Theatre of Blood and throw it in there last minute

I'm glad there's going to be a Volume 3 but this will pale in comparison to the two previous sets.

Still it will be nice to get another dose of Vincent Price!

Isn't An Evening of... on tape? I remember the DVD being poor as a result.

Will likely wait for a price drop this time around as this one doesn't excite me and there has been an abundance of Price this year.

Pity they couldn't save The Mad Magician and The Tingler from Sony. Kinda lackluster Vol.3. Oh, well.

Good news With all the Vincent Price releases I didn't think there would be a volume three. Looking forward to Master of the World,Tower of London and Diary of a Madman some good stuff here.

the problem here is that KINO has released so many titles that could have been on a volume 3 set. What's left is pretty disappointing.

I'll still buy it -- Cry of the Banshee is good, Diary of a Madman I haven't seen since I was a kid but I remember liking it a lot.

Master of the World I've never seen but I'm a fan of both Bronson and Price so it should be enjoyable. Tower of London is good from what I recall...

The TV special is weak and should have been a supplement as has already been suggested above...

At least with Master of the World we (should) get another PBS intro and conclusion from the same series shown on volumes 1 & 2.

how bout it's been a good FORMAT for Vincent Price fans. I mean is there any other "classic" actor with more titles on blu-ray?
John Wayne and Clint Eastwood are the only two names that come to mind, and Price may actually have more than Eastwood, but it's probably really close at this point. I have to believe John Wayne is still the all time bd leader, mainly due to Olive's fine work. If not for all those releases Price would certainly be the leader I would think. (and he still might be)

I'm absolutely picking it up, but it is definitely lackluster. Even if they can't get the bigger titles (some that have been released by other labels), then why not just load this one up with a bunch of lesser quality films? 5 mediocre movies is a big step down from 7 pretty good movies before that and 6 great films before that.

I fine set for a completest, but apart from the Tinlger and yet to be purchase Scream and Scream Again, I have all the Price films that I want.

I feel as if they should have saved From a Whisper to a Scream for this. If only to add another title. But it's funny that the people who were last week begging for this are now complaining that it's gonna be exactly what they expected.

I'll get it too, but the price should really be quite a bit lower, maybe $30 or so from Amazon day 1 would be fair.

I will be picking this set up for sure, it could be better but at least it's more Vincent Price on blu.

It will have to be a special feature by default, as it is 53 minutes and will likely be in SD, as it was in the Arrow box, where it is in fact an extra. Cliff said on Facebook that 'We are still looking into it', regarding whether it will be the dupe kinescope on the Midnite Movies disc/Arrow box or the original videotape source, but in any case, it can't really be considered a 'film' in the traditional sense by any stretch of the imagination, so I'm looking at this as a four-film set. Having seen Tarentino's Roadshow print of MASTER OF THE WORLD, with overture, intermission and exit music, I gave it a chance, but just didn't like it. And not interested in the Price/Poe readings, so basically just the other three hold interest for me, which will have to be broken down cost wise to see if it's ultimately worth it. This one will not sell very well and will most likely fade from the marketplace sooner rather than later.

I vaguely recall that those Iowa PBs intros and outros may no longer be available, due to unspecified reasons.
