Day One for me. Bond at his most Bondiest with easily the best cinematography in the franchise so far.

Hopefully they continue with the Limited Edition Title Sequence slipcovers. This has one of the better ones.

Will pick this up on release, but i was disappointed by the film.

WAYYYY to long and baggy in the middle could have easily lost around 20 mins. The opening sequence in mexico is brilliant and i thought the end battle was entertaining.

Fun, Bond-buster entertainment though.

20 minutes more of Bond film is greater than 20 minutes less of Bond film. Fact.

I don't think I could have handled 20 mins more of Die Another Day

I've heard mixed things about Spectre, but will pick it up when it goes cheaper.

I remember reading on here that Spectre has a bonus disc edition similar to what some supermarkets do. Anyone know about this?

Indeed. The UK Blu-ray is safe for now in terms of running time. The Dutch, US German & Asian Blu-rays are also: 2:28:06.878

Here in the Netherlands we never cut things either.

To make sure this UK Blu-ray is safe. How about any censoring? If there is any censoring it could be in:

[Show spoiler]The Torture scene

A good example where censoring doesn't affect the running time was in The Avengers (2012)

It is likely that the pre cut Theatrical UK version has been distributed worldwide
so 12a cut version worldwide, unless confirmed otherwise
[Show spoiler]eye gouging scene, is still there but has been trimmed
also another scene showing the aftermath of a violent act (Aftermath of Mr. White's suicide).

Yes, I think this too. But you never know, right?

I'm just about to watch this now. The rating at the start of the film is PG-13.

Just about to go and pick mine up, I'll let you know, but I don't think it does as their online grocery site doesn't indicate a bonus disk. http://www.sainsburys.co.uk/webapp/w...pectre-blu-ray

Any confirmation on a Sainsbury's exclusive yet?

Overheard a woman in my local at lunchtime saying there was a "shiny one for 15 quid". I don't know if this is a DVD or BD.

No exclusive at Sainsbury's. Nice slip, matt background with Daniel Craig "shiny" as per lemonheads picture. Perhaps that's what she meant. While I was looking, a woman came up to the display near the doors and without looking grabbed the first one she could put her hands on (a BD) but the stand had DVD's as well all in those plastic security cases. Hard to tell the difference at a quick glance. Hope she picked up the correct one! Me, I was scrutinising all the slips to get a mint one!

I always do this too, but then they **** 'em up when they have to smash them onto the thing to get the security tags out :/ Wish they sold them in the plastic security cases to keep the condition perfect.

Got to see the movie recently (I got the Craig 4 movie collection) and was really annoyed with the yellow tint applied to most of the movie. The Mexico opening looks gorgeous in the extras but the digital color correction of the movie is a mess! Whoever is responsible should be executed publicly.
