Default Seeing more ps3 games in 1080p

http://www.ps3land.com/article-754.php

The above link confirms from ps3land.com that several ps3 games will be playable in 1080p resolution. It looks like Sony surprised us again with 1080p resolution.

Playing ps3 games in 1080p will be brand new for consoles. It's the highest resolution possible.

I'm not fully up to date on flat panel tvs. If you have a 36 inch versus a 70 inch, then only the 70 inch would support 1080p resolution?

SWEET JESUS!!!!!

Sony BRAVIA X-series 1080p LCD TV

Looks amazing. Heck, even the Sony logo on the TV lights up while the TV is on.

^^That TV alone is a WINNER ^_^

Agreed.

But when I looked at it again, it said 60 fps.

So that means that the PS3 can handle 1080p60 games?

Is it even possible?

I think a lot of us are going to take advantage of the HDMI option for the ps3.

That's not fair. Our BRAVIA X series (for Asia-Pacific) won't arrive till November.

It sucks.

no, why? they make 15 inch 1080p (1920x1200 actually, you can fit a decent gui below/above the picture too) displays for laptops, the 24" pc monitors are also at that resolution, 30" monitors are much higher.
so theres no reason not to have such small tvs at 1080p too. im too lazy to google actual models, but im sure there are plenty.
