Default anyone see a reason to keep 360?

ever since i got my ps3 i have not touched my xbox 360. im thinking about selling it today but not quite sure. just wondering if anyone has a reason (games) that would make it worth keeping? the only games ive played on it that would really want to play again are max payne, max payne 2, XIII, (all for regular xbox) and nfs: most wanted and gears of war on 360.

Keep it

State of the business now its like most game developers are out to drag down the PS3 with crappy ports (Orange Box??) and stupid things like Activision not releasing patch to fix GHIII compatibility issues with Rock Band ... If PS3 doesn't get accepted soon within the development community this will be its last generation run I believe.

This pains me to no end because I love my PS3 too, so sad...

developers will have to continue to support the ps3. i work at best buy and ps3s are selling tons. developers would be dumb not to support it. i know what you are saying though about orange box, but it is still selling a lot of copies on ps3.

I'll take it off your hands ...the only reason I would though is to play Dead Rising, I really want to play through that entire game.

I actually just bought a 360 a little over a month ago. I played Mass Effect and have not played a good 360 game since. I am still looking into older titles to play.. I am sure some fun ones exist. I want to try out Naruto.

But upcoming there are 3 particular exclusives I am looking at. Ninja Guiden, Lost Odyssy, and Kingdom Under Fire.

I am kind of thinking I splurged a bit. There really are already better games for the PS3. PS3 exclusives are usually great games and very original. And the XMB smokes the 360 OS. The 360 OS is VERY slow compared to the snappy XMB. There is a big list of other things that the PS kicks the 360 at.. but I just bought the 360 for games.

That game was the only reason I bought a 360.

Yeah, I bought my xbox 360 this past January just for Dead Rising (and Perfect Dark Zero).

I use my 360 for 4 player games Fuzion Frenzy 2 when I have company over. I use my PS3 primarily for blu-ray movies and Warhawk.

I'd keep both.

I sold my 360 last week, I didn't play it once I got my PS3. Couldn't see the point in it just sitting there so i sold it and bought some Blu-Rays

You know what, I am in the same boat. I was using the 360 very much before my PS3 was purchased. However, the moment I unwrapped the PS3 from its confines, the 360 just kind of faded.

1) PS3 has the XMB bar which I think is better than what the 360 has (media wise), however, I will admit that the 360 has a better network set-up than does the PS3.
2) Of course, we have our favored Blu-ray format which I immediately built-up my library to 41 titles in a span of 3 months and slowly rising.
3) Folding @ Home.
4) The PS3 is the better system!

i guess im just looking for justification to get rid of it. gears of war 2 would be very nice though, but is a system worth keeping for a few play throughs of gears of war 2??

I sold my 360 and got a PS3, and my justification was 2-fold :-

1. The wife wouldn't let me own 2 consoles.

2. I knew that the 360 would likely have hardware failure at some point, so I figured it better to sell it on before going through all the hassle of having to get it fixed first.

keep it if you can. Exclusives come out for all consoles. Why not have the best of both worlds?

I just got a 360 Elite a little while ago. A friend talked me into it and in the end it only cost me $200, taxes included.
Thought of selling it, but I'll keep it for now... ONLY for exclusives.

My PS3 is my baby, besides my girlfriend, and she is thinking it's the way to go for the new tv in the family/sitting room also. Sweet.

I am the other way around. I don't have ps3 games because none out there appeal to me right now. Meanwhile all my games are from 360. Mass effect, ace combat 6, Halo 3, Gears of war, Eternal Sonata, and with Ninja Gaiden 2 coming exclusive to 360 oh hell no i am not seeling it.

Mass Effect is my justifier right now.

And DOA4 and DOAX2, but those are eye candy games.

If you got a PS3 then nothing...

List it on Ebay today and get something for it before they drop in price real bad. Same goes with HD-DVD stuff. In 6 months that crap will be worth squat.
