Question Blade Runner w/ wrong sticker?

I got my 5 disc set today from Warner and I had to do a double take on the the top of the case. Mine had a HD DUD logo on top. The discs inside were Blu-ray's except for the SD material. Did anyone else get theirs like that?

Mine says Blu. 2 of the 5 discs SD-DVD. 5 versions of the movie in Blu(including the workprint) It will take me a month to watch all this. What a great problem to have!

I hope it won't be like this everywhere. I plan on going to BB tomorrow to pick one up. It would suck to pick up the Blu-ray one and find out they're fire ants inside. If this is going to be the case for all of us tomorrow all I have to say is, "Here we go again"

I got the New Harry Potter Order of the Phoenix from Warner. It's was in a RED FUD case with a Blu incert. Inside was a HD-DUD

I called WB twice. They said they will contact me next week.

Mine also had the HD DVD top sticker on the blu case.

Don't freak out people, it is just the security sticker on the top. The flippin case is still bright blue and the discs are 3 BDs and 2 DVDs.

Warner Bros. needs to pick a format soon since they can't seem to be able to handle two.

Hmm... more and more of screw-ups coming from WB. It all started with the inserts, then the HP boxset... and now this.

The same thing happened to me. I contacted Warner last week and they said they would send a replacement disc which I got today and that I could keep the error disc but then I received an email from them stating that I would have to send the error disc back after to CSR told that I didn't have to.

I ordered Blade Runner from warner also so I hope that doesn't happen to me

Hmmm, first Harry Potter, now Blade Runner. And I don't recall this being a wide-spread problem before now. Is it just me, or does anyone else think that Warner is creating a reason to switch to a single format? It would seem to be a very "friendly" way to choose a side without snubbing the losing format. They would just base their decision on the units sold in a format to date in making their determination.

I know, it would be a pretty cheesey stunt, but this is just too odd that this is all-of-a-sudden occurring...

Same here, but just the sticker. It still has the blu sku, so no issues with it being counted as a HD-DVD.

It's not a bad omen, they are just trying to get rid of extra inventory.

It probably also has to do with the non-English speaking people doing a lot of the packing work. I know, I sound like I'm being mean, but 3 or 4 of the boxes I have received from Warner has had Spanish writing on the box in ink stating that it needs packing materials.

I agree.

Just dump HD-DVD to avoid any confusion.
