For reality based combat, it must be Call Of Duty 4. For fun and replayability I'd vote for Unreal Tournament III. I'll be playing UT3 long after any desires for COD4 fizzle away.

I love Resistance because I enjoy playing co-op through the game with a friend.

technically, Warhawk is a THRID person shooter, but who's counting?

I'd have to say Unreal Tournament III. by far...the ....best FPS as of right now.

I bought warhawk last week thinking that when they released it to purchase on disc you can play a campain or be able to play it without being online. Is that game online only, if it is I feel pretty stupid buying it, and having to return it to gamestop, I bought it used so I I have 7 days to try it out.

Resistance FTW, COD4 was good but way over hyped in my opinion.

Call of Duty 4 for amazing realism. I don't play online so I'm only judging by 1 player campaign. All of the other fps' are arcadey and lacking any sense of realistic drama.

Warhawk is, unfortunately, an online ONLY game. there is no single campaign mode.

thanks zoon ii for the info, I'll be heading down to gamestop and getting uncharted instead, oh and I forgot to mention what was my favorite ps3 fps game so far, and I must say it has to be unreal tournament, honestly I don't know why cause' I always hated that style of game where you go around on a map and just take eachother out like halo multiplayer, I was surprised that the campain is that way and not like other campains such as rfom or gow. But, unreal tournament has got me liking it so far and speed, visuals are very good too

I was going to say GRAW2, because I have not tried COD4 (or COD3) yet.

I couldn't get into Resistance. I may give it another go.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare without a doubt! I also really enjoyed Resistence but COD 4 has a more realistic feel to it and the graphics are top notch.

Unreal Tournament 3 hands down... There is no comparison. This game will go well beyond the lifespan of any current game out. Even Call of Duty 4.
