I'm trying to find a thread for Demolition, with Jake Gyllenhaal and Naomi Watts.

I wanted to see this in theaters. But my theater never got it. Even though they played the trailer for it when I went to go see The Witch earlier this year.

I'll have to give it a look later next week.

I'm sure a lot of people are going to overlook this because it looks generic, but it might be the definitive "man finds himself in a personal crisis" movie that we've all seen a dozen times. The cinematography, editing, acting, and even music choices are spot on. I didn't think this was a masterpiece, but it excels in bringing to life its mediocre script and Gyllenhaal is a treasure, as always. Worth seeing at least once.

Really enjoyed this film. From the cast, writing, cinematography and soundtrack choices. Not sure why is was snubbed by audiences worldwide.

What's with the price though! It was $32 the other day, now it's $26.99. It really shouldn't be anymore than $20 if they want more people to consider picking it up.

Does anyone think it'll be region free?

Best Buy and Barnes and Noble don't even have this in their system. I checked with Walmart and Target and it doesn't seem like they'll even sell this in store. I already had someone sharing the cost with me and will buy the dvd but it looks like it's only going to be available online. It's so ridiculous that a lot of the stupid titles will be in store tomorrow but not this one. What's going on with Jake's career as well that most of his recent works are straight to video releases that are hard to find and are too expensive to buy!

might just get this digitally. can get it for half the price of the bluray which is far too high.

anyone know what special features are on it? if anything interesting I'll wait and get the physical copy

Just wait a few weeks and get the Blu-ray when the price drops. Don't abandon the blu

What is going on with this movie???? Very disappointed to not find it in stores today. Is it ever going to be in stores? I guess seeing as it only made $1 million dollars at the box office, it's not a big movie at all. Has anybody found a copy anywhere in a store or received it in the mail?

Amazon's shipped mine already. Expected Thursday. Never did get much of a price drop on it though, which is a bummer.

Were you provided with a tracking #? I'm only curious to see if Amazon even got some sort of a shipment on this because 20th century told me that if hasn't even been distributed for sale. I wonder if you'll eventually get an email telling you of a delay in shipment.

Okay, so I think I was right! I got an email letting me know that this item should ship on the 27th. It's one of those things wherein the release date gets moved the following week. I just hope that's the case here. There is, however, another pending problem regarding this title. Not only did they increase the price once again, the combo may not include a dvd (similar to Green Room where it shows dvd in the picture when it truly isn't included). Walmart shows the slip with the dvd but it shows only blu + dc in their description. Amazon shows 2 discs but the description after the title only shows blu ray. Arrrrgghhh

, I realized this after sending the buyer of the dvd that I shared the expense with that I'll ship it on the 29th. It better includes a dvd!!!
