Sharp BDP $349 (yes these are good deals for Canada)

In store:

Panasonic 720p 42" Plasma $1000
Over 150 Blu-ray titles: $19.99

The sucky part (for us) is both sales have $99 HD DVD players with 2 free movies in box...

Nice find, I'll make sure to get some blu-ray

But anyway, I think they only offer 300 HD-DVD over the Quebec.. so perhaps we can expect maximum 1500 units over the Canada.. That's sucks but won't make a difference on the overall sales

Web Deals Eh? Those Should be Good! I can still get them, considering I have to work that day, and hate Future Shop's Actual Stores with a Passion.

A&B sound is having an Absolute Blowout on Sony BDP-S1s, i know it's ghetto, but if you know anybdy that needs to pick one up, just entry lvel, we're looking at about 200 dollars a player! No actual price, once i find out today, I'll let everybody know!

its too bad that the Blu-rays for 19.99 are in-store only. but for sure ill be driving up there to pick up a couple. ill also be going to best buy and getting assassins creed for 39.99

So apparently it's not the HD-A3 on sale for 99.99, it's the HD-D3, an hdmi equipped up converting dvd player, look up the flyer online and it says it right on top.

Checked in to this and it is an HD DVD player, not just an upconverter. It has the same chasis as the Walmart Venturer.

It's not only in store, you can order them off the site right now.
