Arrow Review your own 4K UHD Blu-rays

I posted this elsewhere and was wondering what everyone thought on a thread dedicated to this. I am volunteering to keep it updated if you guys think it's a good idea. If we get enough participants maybe we can start ranking pq by equipment too. Since that seems to the problem with professional reviews.

It wouldn't be a bad idea for someone to start a thread of everyone's top 5 uhd pq movies based on their eyes. Especially since reviews are so up and down across all these different sites. And all this talk about whether or not 2k up conversion is even worth it.

The op can update the first post with everyone's votes. So folks new to the 4k uhd world can have a starting point.

1. Pacific Rim. By far the best especially HDR, clarity and colors
2. The Revenant. Superb natural lighting and sharp clarity, movie tone is bit muted for my taste
3. Batman vs Superman. Stunning HDR, a bit too grainy.
4. Mad Max Fury Road. Again love the HDR and beautiful color tone.
5. The Martian. Pristine clarity, nice HDR but sometimes inconsistent.

1. Being the best right?

Considering I've only seen 5 so far, it's as follows. I'll repost at a later date with revised top 5.

My 5 would be
1. Revenant
2. The Shallow
3. Pineapple Express
4. Angry Birds
5. Hancock

Yes 1 being the best. I also need to check out Ghostbusters 2016. That might bump Deadpool out. With the HDR and bright vibrant colors, it might be demo material.

They all seemed jumbled and I see new 4k users starting new threads just to ask the same question. Thought it'd be easier to have a thread dedicated to it.

Sure, I'll play along. I have a 70" sharp 4k without hdr.
I've watched Watchmen, BvS, Ghostbusteds I and II, Deadpool, Days of Future Past, TMNT Outt of the Shadows, and Star Trek and Star Trek Into Darkness

Too 5 of those were -
5) tmnt
4) days of future past
3) deadpool
2) star trek
1) star trek into darknes

Recently bought first class and apocalypse. I'll update if those impress

Great idea. As this format grows, you know we'll have threads asking for everyone's top title for PQ, or top 5 or top 10 etc etc. Hopefully, the mods will close or merge those threads into this one. Thanks for doing this.

My thoughts exactly. Hopefully this will help new 4k tv owners to buy their next demo disc to show off their new tv.

Updated op too.

From what I've watched:

1. The Revenant
2. Batman v. Superman
3. Sicario
4. The Legend of Tarzan
5. Ender's Game
6. The Last Witch Hunter
7. Watchmen

Still have yet to watch Labyrinth, ID4, Deadpool, Ghostbusters '16 and The Shallows from my library. I also may not be the best judge of this because I'm not buying any UHDs I already own the 3D version of (BvS was an exception because of the extended cut).

LG 65UH8500 HDR 4K TV

It's a couple of times I see people mentioning Ender's Game. I thought all the reviews for it were saying it was bad ?
