Default PS3 game's question

Hi Guy's,
Firstly Merry Christmas to all and i hope you are all having a jolly good time.
My question relates to the game Resistance; Fall of Man. A friend of mine has a ps3 from the U.S and the game shows up blood when your shooting the aliens, but the ps3 i have from Japan doesn't show any blood from the game.
Is there anyone who knows if you can activate the more graphic contents of the game?
Thanks for any replies

I don't think there is any legal way to make a Japanese PS3 provide blood in games like Resistance or Uncharted. It seems the games themselves know which version of the console you're using and adjust the content to match that region's requirements.

You might be able to find a third party source that can modify your PS3, but you would do so entirely at your own risk (and this will undoubtedly nullify your warranty, as well as leaving you vulnerable to firmware screening from Sony if they decide to crack down on such practices). Caveat emptor.
