720P games,turning it off downgrades it 480? - Blu-ray Forum

so...i tried F1 racing...notice it said 720P on the screen and wanted to see if it can go 1080P upscaling it...

Nope..my mario cart 64 looked better...was 480...

grrr.

can your regza display 1080p or only accept 1080p isgnel maybe a setting on your tv? maybe refresh rate?

Only games that support 1080 resolution will upscale natively when you turn off the 720p option. Some games do, some games don't.
