Default What's The Last Thing You Googled?

I've been googling a lot lately, mostly to get to wiki pages for entertainers. I don't know what my very last googlies were but two recent ones were
Chris Martin and Operation Anthropoid

What about you?

Oh yeah, I think the very last thing that I googled was how to make a gif so that I could make one and add it to the Gal Gadot appreciation thread

Gunshot wounds.

Because I'm working on a novel where a detective is looking over a body, and I wanted to make sure I got something right. Hopefully.

It's sci-fi though, so I decided to write this as the body had a clean entry/exit wound from a particle weapon. Saves me from having the guy find a bullet (as was my original intent). More importantly, it's a clue to tie in with the bad guy.

Why not?

Wow Al, that's great that you're working on a novel. I see you being much more successful than JLF That reminded me of one of these true crime shows I was watching. This guy's wife or gf was killed on the beach from a gunshot wound. He had received several gunshot wounds himself, one being in the shoulder area I think. Apparently detectives found that he had done a search for places you could get shot and survive.

Oh yeah I think maybe Friday I googled something like "Meryl Streep Nazi memorabilia". Admittedly because of a joke I heard at some awards show, I thought that she actually collected it. I probably thought about it because shortly before that, I had read about that guy Lemmy from Motorhead and apparently, according to wiki, he collected that stuff.

Yikes, that sounds brutal. One thing I was just reading is that gunshot wounds don't equal quick deaths--they're slow and agonizing when shot in non-lethal areas.

Lemmy was quite the interesting fellow (and from what I hear he was a cool guy to hang out with), and he did have a heck of a collection. If I remember right, the dude had a tank.

The Lemmy doc on Blu-Ray shows some of it.

Oh yeah I imagine getting shot would be horrible.

I don't know anything about him or Motorhead. I did know that he had passed away recently. And that's crazy that he had a tank

Different theories regarding certain scenes from the movie Interstellar.
I've watched that several times and some parts were difficult for me to understand. I had to Google it.

Depends on what it is. $25-$300 or so is the average.

lol nice purse

I forgot that I also googled Lea Seydoux and Melanie Laurent for their pics to post in their appreciation threads earlier.

Now I'm going to google and see if there is a way to save YT videos to your comp to watch later. I would like to watch a movie on YT at home but I don't have wifi there. I wonder if I can save it to my computer to watch later

Yeah, there is. You just find a site. You get the link from the video. You enter it onto the save and download/save it for later.

I'm trying to get the new house set up with wifi throughout, however the second router, my old router refuses to let me access the settings. So I have been Googling for solutions.

Yeah JLF I found out a really easy way...well I'm actually still having trouble. I watched a video on YT where a guy demonstrates how to do it. You put a "ss" in front of the youtube.com part of the URL and it takes you to another site where you can download it. I did so and then it opened in Windows Media Player but I'm not sure how to watch it later at home. Once I close down WMP and reopen it, I can't find the video

And then the last thing I googled was about iTunes not finding track names when ripping CDs. I don't know if that Gracenote thing just doesn't have the CD info or what. It's not really a big deal to manually name everything.

After checking out the Christine thread in the Movies forum, I googled Christine Chubbock. I don't know if I'll read her whole wiki page but damn her story sure sounds sad
