Sweet, a rental on Prada for the wife and a purchase for transporter 2 for me. Those two flicks are such guilty pleasures and they looked great on HD cable.

But the article is incorrect.

They say "Prada" is the studio's first day & date but isn't that "Ice Age: The Meltdown" on November 23rd?

Quote:
Given the timing of the artwork, we suspect 'Prada' may be a day-and-date release with the standard DVD on December 12 -- which would be the first for the studio.

Good catch. I think you're right about that.

I didn't want to buy the first Transporter on BD, but since the 2nd one is coming, I'm sure I'll want them both. Damn HD...

I never saw the second one... I liked the first one, yet it didn't make the top cut of BDs to buy on the 14th... Then I realized I don't have to buy all my BDs on the first day.

I've seen both Transporter 1 & 2 and those movies are awesome & excellent.

Both critics and viewer ratings speak for themselves (even check rottentomatoes.com and they are pleased with both films).

They truly look breathtaking on the big screen and they will indeed look stunning on Blu-ray 50 Gigabyte Discs. (assuming both are on BD-50 but BD-25 is fine with me)

I know that the first transporter isn't on BD-50, but maybe the second one is, and they give us some nice interactive features.
