Default What's your Blu Year's Resolution?

In 2008, I resolve to more than double my number of Blu-rays, add another player to my house (along with a new HDTV)

Anyone else have any Blu Year's Resolutions?

and happy Blu-year by the way!

Oddly enough, mine is to spend LESS time in front of my TV and spend more time at the gym!!!

The CATCH 22 to this resolution though is that I currently spend ALL of my time in front of my TV and NONE at the gym. So, even if I start going to the gym once a week for 2 hours, I'll be sticking to my resolution!

I'd also like to double my BD collection. I'd resolve not to go in serious debt too, but I am not one to resist BOGO sales and the like.....so we'll see!!!

OH MY GOD! If I was planning on doubling my BD collection, that would F'N hurt!!! I already own about 150 and I've just taken a major career path change that has me working for myself with no guarantee of substantial income. Not a good idea. I've spent a ton this boxing week (Canada's Black Friday for those who haven't heard of Boxing day/week) and that is the last I'm spending on entertainment for quite some time. What little I have left is reserved specifically for survival necessities until my ball gets rolling.

We all go through those times. Bear down and good luck! All the great movies will be there waiting for you when you're ready. I really hope things go really well for you.

you'ld be better off spending less time more often at the gym rather than vice-versa. 45 mins tops is usually what I spend about 3 to 4 x a week. anything longer and one is usually working out their mouth and dialogue rather than their muscles. people who don't use 'roids need adequate time to recover and grow from time spent in the gym. diet is more crucial than anything when it comes to shedding those blubber pounds.

To buy all of the BEST releases on Blu-ray. That includes replacing some of my DVD titles.

I also hope to be able to buy a profile 1.1 player which streams Dolby True HD and DTS HD MA.

Finally I will be upgrading my present Yamaha receiver (no HDMI) to the Yamaha RX-V 1800 7.1 receiver. (Just waiting for a good deal on this)

I resolve to buy only the handful of titles I really like... and maybe a few I haven't seen.
Oh, and they have to be cheap. I'm done being a pawn.

Add at least another 100 titles to the collection. Also add another BD player to put in the bedroom.
