Titles You Think We Could See By Year's End - Blu-ray Forum

The full North American Summer/Fall/Winter schedule has not been announced, yet. Of course, we are all expecting a good deal of titles by the end of the year. Based on what's come out it other countries, what's in the theaters, what's been released on DVD, etc...what titles do you think we might see released on Blu-ray by the end of this year?

I think we will see:
Memoirs of a Geisha
The Davinci Code
Bad Boys 2
Fun with Dick and Jane
Hostel
Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children
Underworld
Aliens

I think I named too many! I'll stop there. If you disagree with some titles someone lists, say why you disagree with them. Take it away!

Underworld IS coming out, i saw a release date for Underworld and it's sequel Underworld: Evolution around june time.

We may be lucky to get Advent Children by the end of the year, hope so and all the others are a good possibility. I would propbably add V for vendetta, The Matrix and all those other delayed Warner goodies including Batman Begins.

i would like too see bad boy 1 & 2 this year sometime on blu-ray maybe in a decent box set aswell

bad boys 2 trailer was before casino royale with coming soon.. as well as spiderman 2...

all 3 spiderman films plus the 3 pirates films would be great this year plus the matrix..

I heard a rumor that Robert Rodriguez was waiting to finish promos for Grindhouse before putting Sin City on BD, because he wanted to oversee the process personally. So the promos were done by May, so hopefully he's working on it now. I'd love to get it at the same time as 300. I know they're different studios, but a Frank Miller day would be nice.

The DavInci Code will not be released until fall next year. This came direct from Sony and will be as a tie in with Angels & Demons.

Actually, I bet Chronicles of Narnia (The Lion Witch and Wardrobe) will come out next May, when the next one (Prince Caspian) is in theatres

Lots of 'em:

Major series: Spider Man, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Austin Powers, Shrek, Resident Evil, Ghostbusters (saw it on TV in hi-def)

I'd also expect:
Batman Begins, V for Vendetta, Troy, Pirates 3, X2, Kill Bill, Underworld, The Incredibles, Cars, Robots, Transformers, Sin City

Wonder if Lion's Gate will put the extended edition DVD-version of The Punisher on blu-ray? They should.
