It's never been my #1 most wanted title or anything but over the years it's steadily climbing my list. Hugely underrated movie. I think Shatner gives one of his best performances as Adam Cramer. It's a very harsh and explicit movie about school integration made when it was really happening. It's a great film and an important document of the time.
I know the film recently popped up on Filmstruck's Criterion Channel...is that a good sign that the film is in Criterion's sights or is that irrelevant? |
