Most of this has been reported already, one juicy bit I haven't seen mentioned is Warner's Oct. 31st wave. Which is supposed to include one or more DL BD's. Hmm..I thought Superman Returns (Nov.28) was/is WB's first BD-50. Until Oct. 31st titles are official I guess the latter stands.

WB's Nickerson also mentions combo-players~next year.

But there’s a second Blu-ray player already on the market, Nickerson noted. Two weeks ago, Panasonic quietly shipped its first BD player to select high-end specialty stores only. Players from Philips, Sony and Pioneer are expected within a month, as well as two second-generation HD DVD players from Toshiba, Nickerson said. Next year will see the release of the first Blu-ray/HD DVD combo player, he said.

So we'll have 5 BD players to choose from within a month? Cool!

And who exactly is making this combo player he mentions. Why do I fear it's just the same speculation we've been hearing for months?
