Default Do you watch all of your movies?

I see that many of you have over 50 blu-rays, some over 150 blu-rays. Do you guys buy movies because you are movie fanatics, or just to support our cause to make blu-ray the winning HD format?

Personally, I've looked through all the blu-ray movies available and I want only 30-40 movies, but Im jealous of you guys who have a huge collection cuz that probably looks sweet in your homes

I have a good number left to watch. But I watch usually 4-5 a week and we are making head way on it.
I told my wife I would not buy any more until after we finish watching them all. I better get started!

i have 55 (need to update my signature), of the 55 there are about a dozen I havn't watched. Reasons for not watching some of them are.

1. I got them in the 5 free blu-ray promo and don't really want them, but wanted another title, so I had to get this one too.

2. I like Spiderman 1 and 3, but 2 comes with it, so I got no choice but to own 2. Ill watch it someday, but not right now.

3. I got a good deal on a movie I like, I don't want to watch it now, but someday in the future when i got that urge to watch a particular movie Ill have it right there ready to go.

4. The worst one is, I bought them to support the format. I got 3 discovery HD documentries on australia, brazil and italy for 6.99 a piece. I said, hey its 20 bucks, and i might watch them sometime, whatever, ill support blu-ray cause its awesome.

Default I was wondering that myself

I have 50 right now, which actually shocked me. I have two seasons of Weeds and the Planet Earth on Blu which I count as one each to reach that #. I have watched every movie that I own.

To put that in perspective my wife and I own over 400 movies on DVD (including Star Wars twice).

I wish I had the disposable income to buy more movies (but if I did I wouldn't buy any more, I just would like to have the disposable income ). I am only buying what I consider "good" movies. I won't buy a BD movie just because it is BD, it has to be something that I know I'll watch more than once if I'm going to buy it.

I have about 50'ish (need to update my dvdspot.com account to keep track), and I' say about half of them I still have yet to watch.
Some are ones that I replaced a DVD version of, and just haven't gotten around to watching yet, and some are ones I got over christmas.

I kind of go through movie watching phases. I'll watch several in one week, then not feel like watching any movies for a while, but I continue buying Blu's no matter what to help support the format

I'd have to check to make sure, but I think I just passed the 50 mark. I've watched roughly 30 of them. The rest...I'm working on it

I went nuts with a few of the BOGO sales.

I own a total of eight Blu-rays and I've watched all but one of them so far but I plan to watch that last one this week. Actually I got 3 of those movies as part of a promotion from Samsung and didn't have to pay for them.

Overall, I'm being HIGHLY selective about which movies to get. I have over 400 DVDs and I don't want to get near that amount on BD. I prefer to rent for the most part. I've found with my large DVD collection that I wind up watching very few of the ones I bought over and over again. I'm reserving BD for the movies that I'm sure to watch at least once a year.

I officially own 65 Blu-ray movies, but about 12 of those are still yet to arrive from Amazon. Of the one's in my possession I've watched 85% of them. A lot of them that I haven't watched are because I got a bunch at one time (from a BOGO) and haven't had time to catch up yet. A couple movies I admit I got just because they were cheap on the BOGO and have no real desire to watch them more than once. That's why I now have signed up for Netflix and I am trying to do a better job of just renting and not owning.

I'm only buying movies that I like, and maybe a couple to show off what Blu-ray can do... At the beginning of December, I had 5 movies... with the BOGO's and X-mas, I now have 36 (with 4 more shipping today from Amazon).

There are still 8 or 9 movies I want, but I have too many to watch before I can justify buying these...

Short answer: yes

Just because this statement makes me curious,.. how many Blu Rays do you have? The way you word that makes me think you haven't started buying Blu Rays yet.

I love to buy Blu-Rays. Yes it's an addiction, money's a little low after the holidays. I buy them and buy them, and then try to find time to watch them. I love movies, but I rent quite a bit too. Plus I share the TV with my parents and I also play ps3 games and sports (Go Lakers) and screenwriting... so when I sit down to watch a bd, it's so relaxing and enjoyable. I still haven't watched the majority I've bought though.

I only buy movies that I realy like, and will watch multiple times, or movis that I kinda like and find a really good deal on (like Spidey 3 for $6.99).

There are only 3 BDs I own that I haven't watched yet - HP 1/2/4, because my ps3's disc drive stopped working a few days ago.
