The above link mentions that some ps3 games will be $59.99 or $60.00 as I would say. ps2 games cost $50.00 or $60.00 and even n64 games were $60.00 from 1996 to 1999 so this is nothing new. What can I say, stuff isn't cheap anymore. |

That's the cost of next gen, I guess, even though I can get a lot of the same titles on the PC for $40 or less, and often times just as good, if not better, than their console counterparts. Console game development costs more money. That's a very oversimplified answer, but I've had it broken down for me before. It's cheaper to make games for the PC than the consoles, especially these newer ones. I'm glad I'm primarily a PC gamer. ![]() |
