Default Found "Sunshine" At Wal-Mart

Don't know if this is the same everywhere, but I stopped by Wal-Mart tonight after work, and they had Sunshine for sale, even though the release date is 1/8/2008. I grabbed a copy, but haven't watched it yet. I don't typically blind-buy very often, but I've heard many good reviews of the film.
Oh, and this was in Jefferson City, Missouri.

Wish I could have that kind of luck. Wal-Mart by my house has a very small section of BD & HD DUD. On top of that the BD are always sold out!

thats how mine are, every time I go into WalMart there is nothing special, Today I went into 3 different Borders (since I see a lot of people on here talking about finding a rare movie..Shooter, Leppelin, Untouchables, etc. ) Each one had nothing. One had like 5 different movies...Terrible

I got Sunshine last week and watched it on Friday night.
It is an awesome movie. Plus I got to see the first 15 minutes I missed thanks to my buddy getting to the theater late.
Very good PQ, in fact maybe better than the theaters as it was kinda soft/out of focus on the first day/first showing.
You'll like it-I did.

I would rather wait for the actual release date then step foot in another Wal-Mart.

I love that movie. Mix Alien and 2001 and you'd get Sunshine. I think I'll grab it soon, and I don't mind if it's at Walmart.

Seriously. I always hate it when I hear about them breaking street date. ****ing idiots, I tell you. At least some of us can do our job right.

On a side note, a local Wal-Mart around me broke the street date on High School Musical 2. They ended up getting fined $40,000. They break street date all the time at that certain store.

What are the studios going to do, stop shipping movies to Wal-Mart? Highly unlikely

I agree with him, but I say more of a mix between 2001 and Event Horizon with some Alien thrown in for good measure.

I loved the movie, alot of people say it's boring, I thought it was incredible. But then again I loved The Fountain too. I guess I have a thing for films this side of intellectual thinking.

Mix of 2001 and Event Horizon is much more accurate, however, it's not nearly as scary and graphic as Event Horizon, and not nearly as abstract as 2001.

I just picked up sunshine today for 15 bucks, I asked why it was so cheap, and the guy said. It was a few months old!?
