Damn, already? Glad to get a release date! I figured it would be released early again due to the next season airing later again.

One of those releases is clearly a Steelbook given the listing.

Both Amazon listings says steelbook!

Although I'm guessing one will change to the standard edition, which is already noted under the title on one listing.

I just noticed that. Yeah, one has to be the standard mislabeled.

I just hope the standard packaging is better than last season's. I keep my discs for Season 6 in a separate case because of the stacking.

Saw episode 1 last night. It was damn good. Things are moving rapidly.
It was the first time I ever watched a GOT episode on HBO. I did not know that they showed recaps of previous seasons before the episode and also I never knew that they showed previews of the next episode for the upcoming week.

I have watched every GOT season so far only on blu-ray. Looking forward to picking up the blu-ray for Season 7.

I'd like to own them in steels, but they are so pricey compared to standard BD releases and I'd have to rebuy the first three, as that's a series I'd not like mismatched.

I'm guessing with only 7 episodes this season and 6 episodes next season, these could be normal plastic cases. I'd like to see digipaks with additional interior artwork. Hoping for more info during SDCC.

Doubt we well get more info at SDCC. Most likely it'll be detailed after the finale airs.
