Is Amazon Prime gonna get this? If so, no need to buy unless it's dirt cheap. For some reason Allen's recent movies never go down in price. Still waiting for Irrational Man to be affordable.

Ugh! I don't understand why they continually design lovely theatrical posters for Woody Allen movies and then release them on home media with horrible covers...

EDIT: Also, I love that consolation prize pull quote "There are moments that leave you breathless." It really feels like it came after a big "But" or "However" at the end of a not so positive review.

You have got to be kidding me. How do they replace the original fantastic art with this garbage. The 1st one is an attention grabber that might get someone interested even if they've never heard of the movie and the 2nd one is just boring and generic.

[Show spoiler]
Hollywood has zero taste in cover art. Yuck. It's like their goal is to make every cover as generic as possible so they all look the same on your shelf. Nothing to stand out as individual. The poster art was beautiful.

Yeah. The poster and cinematography were the only good things about the movie.

The original poster art is clearly superior. As bad a decision as that Wind River video cover.

I was on Amazon.co.uk to see if this would have the theatrical poster cover art. It’s not even showing up as a “coming soon” title. Was this released in the uk?

that's really low ~ but considering the pre-release controversy, dismal box office performance AND Amazon Studios cutting their ties with Woody - they are practically giving away this movie.

Speaking of waiting....I’m waiting for Café Society to drop into the $14 range. I really liked it and it was a beautifully shot movie.

FWIW, Amazon hasn't actually exercised their option (yet) - Allen's still in pre-production for #50.

Cafe Society's pretty good stuff, underrated Woody imo. I liked Irrational Man even more though!

Can't wait to see Wonder Wheel.

Damn this is cheap. Guessing due to the controversy?

This was pretty weak and I’ve enjoyed most of Allen’s recent films(with the exception of Magic in the Moonlight).

Haven't seen Wonder Wheel yet but Irrational Man is easily my favorite of his post-Midnight in Paris output.
