Default What does HD DVD’s silence tell you?

Is it just me or does the silence from the hd-dvd promo group tell you that they are trying to figure out a way to get out of this battle gracefully? If they were planning to continue, don’t you think they would reassure all those people sitting on the fence that there was still a fence to sit on? I can only image that there are a ton of folks who have been dieing to get a hi-def player and are now on there way to best buy to do just that. If Toshiba was planning to continue one would think they would get the message out there sooner rather than later. I know they have made a press release regarding Warner and CES, but it didn’t contain any that would give there supporters hope.
