February 2018 50 Movie Challenge

Returning to the classic format this month - 10 categories of 5 movies each.

There are four required featured categories for February:
* Romance - for Valentine's Day - can be dramas, comedies, whatever
* Black History Month - any African-American-centric films
* Oscar nominees & winners (past or present)
* Recommendations - see below

The remaining six categories can be whatever you want.

February Recommendations Category: Movies with One-Word Titles (5 movies)
5 movies that you haven't seen before from the titles recommended by other members. In your initial tracking post, list 5-10 movie recommendations. Then for the ones you watch for this category, mention who recommended the film in your post.
note: "A", "An", and "The" count as words; so "The Town", for example, is not eligible.

The Usual Fine Print:

• 50 movies is the goal, but based on your own time and situation you can shoot for more or less, so we have different levels from Coal to Platinum:
  60 Movies - Platinum
  50 Movies - Gold
  40 Movies - Silver
  30 Movies - Bronze
  20 Movies - Copper
  10 Movies - Coal

• If you're going to post pictures for the films (poster art or Blu-ray covers, for example) please try not to use GIANT pictures, and if there are tons of them, again - please hide under spoilers.
