SACD and PS3

I see this as a "hidden bonus" of the PS3. Yea, it's a niche thing, but it is actually part of the reason I wanted one. I bought DVD audios when they first came out because they would play in a dvd player (I know the advanced resolution wasn't there then, but all the same), and I kept wavering on whether or not to get an SACD player. I love listening to Dark Side of the Moon on SACD. You get to hear so many more subtleties of the music.

i'm at both sa-cd.net and ps3sacd.com. they're both nice. although the people at sa-cd.net seem on the waaaaay high end of the audio geek crowd. its hard to have a conversation with them since most of them seem to love classical music. go with ps3sacd.com they need more members.

If you're looking to try out this SACD, give the marketplace sellers on Amazon.co.uk or Amazon.com a shot. I have had great luck with SACD's from "Caiman" and the shipping is always reasonable
