I understand internet laziness and using abbreviations, but you may want to edit the title, "Jap" may offend some site visitors. I'm not PC or anything, but adding "anese" is not too hard.

For your question, I am very sure Japan is region A, too, so yes.

Indeed! You were way more diplomatic in your suggestion for thread title/abbreviations than I would have been. Thanks for keeping the peace

I encourage everyone to remember the report post icon at the bottom of every post (The Triangle with the black line in it). The forum rules strictly prohibit racist comments, see number 5: https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=2692

lol
I'm sorry that I started all this crap.
I apologize for nothing being politically correct.
When I type in forums, I sometimes get JAP and JPN mixed up (like I mix up ASN with AZN). I wasn't being offensive or anything. In real life, I say, "Japanese" and not "Jap"

To the original post, yes you can import Blu-ray games and movies from Japan if you are in the United States. We are all in Region A.

For the other subject brought up in this post, it may not offend some Japanese but I am offended when someone uses that term and applies it to me. Just because some words may have no malicious intent behind them it doesn't mean it is still ok to use them.

Only the Bandai titles, virtually all of which will be available here a few weeks after Japan.

The rest of them far less likely to have English on them, especially with regions being the same.

Blu-ray regions break down into this:

Region A: America, Japan, Corea, South East Asia
Region B: Grĝenland, Europa, Africa, Middle East, Australia, New Zealand
Region C: China, India, Russia, + a few others remaining in Asia

Here's a map that shows it even better:

My Month is made if this is true.
