For you lazy people

HD-A3 = $149.99
HD-A30 = $199.99

It is probably just inventory closeout.

Best Buy is the same:
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....&type=category

Amazon is even less:
HD-A3 = $139.98
HD-A30 = $179.98
HD-A35 = $289.98

(Heh) Walmart
HD-A3 = $249.54
HD-A30 = $398.00
HD-A35 = $498.00
Venture = $189.98
So much for those fire sales

Cris told they will probably be labeled upconverts by next month. In other they might end up in grandmas house and she will never know that player once played the inferior disc once known as hd dvd

This seems to be the typical user experience on the A3:

Quote:
The problem is this player is prone to freeze or stutter or drop voice. I rented movies via Netflix and most of them have some kind of problems mentioned above. Even the brand new one that I bought: Harry Potter 5, it stopped and froze in the middle of the movie while there were some guests watching, what an embarrassment!
http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Toshi...oductDetail.do

The weird thing is that mycuti from Chantily, VA gave the A3 a score of 4.3 out of 5.

He did like the SD upconverting though.

It boggles my mind that they are still selling them for that much. Their gonna end up taking all the players off the floor, sell them to Big Lots where consumers will be able to pick them up as novely gifts.
