i can't really hear it, no speakers at work... i just saw it up on one of the big LCDs we have here in the noc and looked it up... when i first saw it i thought it was reporting that the Pope was endorsing bluray... but then i reread it to see that it was a dude named Stephen Pope. Imagine that though... Holy High Def

He said that Walmart will only stock blu-ray players in store, although you can buy HD DVD players online. I am very sure they have not made that announcement, and he confused them w/ Target.

Just saw it too.

I liked how they said hd dvd is still kicking and doing some major sales.

But then they showed the studio support listing! lol

I think I missed the segment and came in right at the end of it. The two hosts were talking and the guy said he was going to be off the show for a while and the woman with him said well at least you will have your blu-ray. Then she said something else and then I mean blackberry. It thought it was pretty funny. Even she was thinking Blu-ray.

BEE-TAH, THEE-TAH - British English pronunciation.

Just like Alu-min-EEYUM.

Any way, it's good to see this going on the major news network sites. It will grab more attention and interest an audiance that doesn't go on the sites that we would for tech info.

I saw a report this morning on CNN and it was very flawed, as you could expect from any major "news" source. Their studio support list was wrong and the silly woman was basically telling everyone to hold off on buying.
