Default Calibration

I have a Toshiba 52HM95 DLP. I also have a calibration DVD from Best Buy. It's THX certified. Should I just do what it says or is there a better way? They were free to customers when I was working there, so I took one. I've looked online for calibrations for that model and found one that is totally different than what the DVD had me do. Any thoughts?
