Lightbulb Live concert wanted/coming wish list you need on Blu-ray

After many years of despising live recordings for their typical poor production and often poor performances I somewhat reluctantly picked up a copy of Queen Rocks Montreal on Blu-ray recently because, well, I've about run out of titles I'm interested in buying on Blu and I generally dig Queen. Wow, what a revelation this disc was! Wonderful performances, fantastic video quality, and an absolutely stunning LPCM soundtrack.

So now the question becomes, "What else cool is coming soon?" For me the Deep Purple Montreaux 2006 disc from Eagle Rock Vision is a must. Anyone besided Eagle Rock putting out concert Blu-rays in the near future?

If you like Pink Floyd then pick up the David Gilmour Blu-ray concert. Also, the Dave Matthews/Tim Reynolds has great sound as well of course musical tastes are subjective. I like the performance though I am not that much of a Dave Matthews fan (this is the only thing I own of his).

I am hoping for many more concerts in Blu-ray as I will repeat watch them more then I will most movies.

Wouldn't mind a Deep Purple concert as well, but maybe with Ritchie playing.

I've picked up several of these now including Dave Matthews, Chris Botti, Queen Rock Montreal, Elton 60 (audio not up to par)........I want more!

I would love to have Heart after watching their performance on HDNet over the holidays.

Keep em coming!

I'm praying the show I went to in Japan last week comes out on Blu, it'll be Dave Matthews worthy if it does (Japanese act)

Springsteen Live in Dublin is another good one. Some "die hard" fans didn't like it as much because it's not as hit-driven as other releases. It focuses on the Seeger Sessions album mostly and it's unique sound.

I second the Queen nomination!

I bought Shakira - Oral Fixation blind...

All I have to say is I was blown away!
The video quality is superb, I see what HDD gave it a full 5 stars.
Looks amazing vivid colors and sharp as hell.

The audio quality really shines here!
The pure vocal tone you have to hear to believe.
You know your listening to lossless audio!

I highly highly recommend this Blu-ray version.
Weather you like Shakira or not it's reference quality.

I'm hoping that The Verve announce a 2008 North American tour soon an archive a performance for Blu-ray release.

I'd also like to see a Dave Matthews Band release to join the Dave and Tim one.

SonyBMG has Pearl Jam too so I would hope they would do something there too.

The more big name releases exclusively on Blu from SonyBMG and Universal (Dave Matthews, Elton John, The Boss, etc.) the better. The 24/48 PCM 5.1 track on the Elton John release is totally awesome, but the Dave and Tim is the best one I've heard yet (24/96) and the PQ is stunning too.

Supposedly the newest Pearl Jam live disc was filmed in HD, and if sales were good enough a Blu release is planned

Bowie please. A Reality Tour would be awesome. Would also love to have the last Roger Waters concert, but I don't believe it was filmed.

Also it looks like Celine Dion's "A New Day" is back on schedule for a release in February.

I would really love a Radiohead concert, even if it's really unlikely. I just bought Queen Rock Montreal, Shakira and Destiny's child (really cheap and great reviews) and will receive them on the 18th january

For your question, a show by Dispatch will be released at the end of january. I would really love that more music concert would be released on blu-ray

I remember reading that Waters filmed a couple of concerts on his last tour but it was mentioned that he did it for his personal archives. There was no mentioned that they planned to release a concert video. But at least it would be possible

Last week there was discussion here about the recent Genesis tour coming out next month on blu. That will be killer! Wish Rush would put one of their concerts out.

I picked up the Springsteen this week. Man, it is great stuff!

The David Gilmour is on my wish list. Also the Black Crowes "Freak n' Roll" is really good for anyone into them. I don't have the blu since I already had the DVD of that one.
