Default Enchanted Blu-ray announced!

Well Disney announced that Enchanted is coming to our beloved format Blu-Ray on March 18th.

Specs are :

1080P Widescreen Transfer (2.35:1)
Dolby True-HD 5.1
SRP : $ 29,99

* Pip’s Predicament: A Pop-up Adventure
* Fantasy Comes To Life: 'Happy Working Song'; 'That’s How You Know'; 'A Blast at the Ball'
* Deleted Scenes - Including exclusive intros by director Kevin Lima
* Bloopers
* D-Files : Enchanted

As far as I know this should be the first Blu-Ray for Disney using Dolby True-HD.
Is Disney going to use Dolby True-HD in the future like Sony ???

Hmm, True HD, I guess Disney too will be moving away from PCM.

I will be picking this up for sure when it comes up, but I'm surprised Disney moved away from PCM to Dolby TrueHD.

Just out of curiosity, does Amazon bill you when you preorder or when it ships?

This looks like a fun movie.

With Disney I always know that the Blu-ray will be great quality!

Pre-ordered. These days it seems I'm seeing lots of new movies for the first time at home. We only made it to the cinema three times last year---twice for Disney films, but this was not one of them. Nice to think that Disney's coming out of a bit of a slump; personally I think they bottomed out on Home on the Range a few years back.

BTW, RUR, I've been meaning to ask: is your handle a Capek reference?

A definite buy. I'll preorder and maybe take my chances with "free, supersavers shipping" again. However, I did that with Sunshine and Amazon just shipped it finally the other day. Maybe I should just invest in a year's worth of Prime shipping. Amazon, your "wear them down" tactics may be working on me after all.

Go to the head of the class! Somewhat easier to type than War With the Newts. It's Ken, BTW.

A shame you were unable to see Enchanted in the theater. It's a fantastic movie on several levels. Everyone except ckenisell will enjoy it.

You can support this site by linking to the Amazon pre-order from the homepage of this site under "New Preorders". Easy as pie: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0011V9XSC
