Cool. But if you add everything done on Alexa 65 this is gonna be a long list. Avengers Infinity War and Endgame, Doctor Strange, Thor Ragnarok, Solo, Ghost in the Shell, Godzilla King of the Monsters etc
PS Spartacus was NOT shot on 65, it was shot on 8-perf 35mm with a slight anamorphic squeeze and intended to be projected in 70mm. |

I agree with Geoff D. Adding ARRI Alexa 65 info, would result in an endless list. |

If you are adding wish list, Far and Away.
Also you are missing Batman V Superman, Ghost Protocol, Revenge of the fallen, Into Darkness, Catching Fire, Force Awakens and Last Jedi |

Yes, I meant that Dunkirk should be moved from partially shot to fully shot on 65/70 mm

While it technically is only partially shot on 65mm film, that was by far the dominant format for Murder on the Orient Express. I think only about a dozen shots were done digital, and minor stuff like live action elements for mostly CGI shots.
So if one is looking for a UHD of a 65/70 film, I think that fits (Branagh also considers it as one). Also on the partial list is Jurassic World. About 2/3 on 35mm, 1/3 large format, and again minor work on RED digital cameras. |

The 70mm aperture is a fraction larger, about ~1070mm sq but they're broadly similar which is why Super Technirama became a thing, yes, although it needed the slight anamorphic squeeze (1.5x) to actually pull a 70mm-friendly aspect ratio from the ~1.50 negative AR of 8/35 (so roughly 2.25 once desqueezed). It was then printed directly to 70mm for exhibition as 8/35 wasn't ever a major projection format, but Spartacus still wasn't shot on 65.

It's still IMAX footage on the disc- just presented at the same aspect ratio as the non-IMAX footage. I have to wonder what the point of this list is when you exclude discs like these and those for movies that use 65mm for FX shots. |

Yep, I said the same thing in another thread recently, that just because the IMAX 15-perf footage is letterboxed it's not like it's suddenly not shot on large format. And as the thread appears to be about large format capture at its point of origin then excluding any films shot on IMAX film seems rather odd. (Though for VFX I can see why those would be excluded as by the time the optical loss is factored in it's not got the quality that we'd expect.)
Lucy is one that springs to mind, they shot some stuff using proper IMAX but never actually opened it up for 1.44, it was framed in 2.39 like the rest of the movie. And by the way OP, Batman v Superman DOES have some 5/65 footage, they used it as an IMAX substitute for certain moments because the actors were troubled by the noise from the IMAX cameras. Lex near the end of the film when Bats visits him in Arkham is a case in point. |

Apollo 11 should be moved to the partial section. It used 16, 35, 5-perf 65, and 10-perf 70 (a special military reversal stock).
And of course First Man should also be added under partial for the end section in 15-perf 65. Also, if you're including the Star Wars movies, you have it backwards. TFA and TLJ used 15-perf 65 on a couple scenes. TROS used 35 only with some plates by an Alexa 65. |
