Hehe, this sorta sounds like an old soft porn title from the 70's that I saw once. It was a take-off on Jaws called Gums and was about this killer mermaid. You can guess the rest...

Certainly no worse than Snakes on a Plane or most of the other tripe spewing forth from Hollywood these days. If the Chinese ever learn how to make great action flicks ....

When I first saw the preview for this, I nearly vomited. The whole concept sounds absolutely revolting.

I imagine the pitch went like this:

WRITER: Ok, are all the women gone from this presentation room? Good. Don't want to prematurely spoil my chances here. This is my idea! (Explains film.)

STUDIO GUYS: What the hell? Are you out of your goddamn mind? No one would go see this. It's disgusting. I'd rather watch a baby chimp get tentacled.

WRITER: You do know we're going on strike next month, right?

STUDIO GUYS: (groans) Hey Jim, what other writers are waiting in the lobby?

JIM: Uh... some guy in a Star Wars costume, and M. Night Shayamalan with Lady in the Water 2: She's Still in the Water.

STUDIO GUYS: (sighs) Ok, fine. Green light this crap. But don't go putting any well-known actors in it. We don't want to be responsible for ruining any careers. Hire my niece... she'll do. I bet she has one of these Dentyne vaginas anyhow. Welcome to Hollywood, son.

When I saw the link, I was like what the hell is this? Then I saw the trailer and thought, Hell No! Are they so out of ideas they came up with this? I imagine it will be a cult film like Cabin Fever.
